Note I DON'T need any editing features other than the ability to quickly convert file formats (generally to covert to JPG from some other format)ģ. I mostly use Photoshop and Canon's Raw editor. I really need a program that keeps a complete database so I can easily open folders and not have to rebuild the thumbnails each time.Ģ. I like the feature of TP where it will search all my hard drives and builds a database. What I really liked about Thumbplus that I "need" in a new photo organizer:ġ. I also have 3 PCs in my home that I would like support, so even $50 a PC starts getting pricey but manageable, but $150 per computer is out. I have about 100,000 photos but I am on not a "pro." I use several camera types but mostly Canon (including DSLR so I need RAW support. After using the same program for 10 years and being used to it, this is a bit of a shock. I just started up with a new Windows 7 PC and found out that Thumbsplus 8 is a buggy mess with next to no support (looks like Cerious Software is on their last legs).

I'm a long time (10 year) Thumbsplus user.
