Along with its smooth texture, keen features, vast languages supports and very elegant attractive arrangement, Sabon is perfect for many designing approaches. A well-using typeface in the early nineties. This classic font family is also known as Jacques Sabon typeface. Styles including for Sabon are roman, italic, bold, and bold italic.

Jan Tschichold was the one who produces this typeface firstly and releases at Linotype, Monotype, and Stempel type foundries during 1967. This font family consists of four unique styles and each of them comprises their own advanced looks. This old-style sans serif font took the obligation of delivering the top-notch glimpses to the web or printing page using it. If it is possible to apply a tracking value to an opentype version to fix your text flow issue on the PC then your time could be better served. There is some awesome typeface existing in the world that features the best appearance all the times. So my point is that even if you could track down a PC version of the Postscript Type 1 font made from the same foundry you would have even less assurance, since you are trying to work cross platform, that it will solve your problem. I’ve not heard of this happening with Opentype. Apparently, in the days of Postscript Type 1 dominance adjusting the kerning and tracking between versions was common. In the time between manufacture the tracking and kerning tables had been adjusted. The reason for this turned out to be that the same font manufactured by the same foundry had been created at a different time.

In my considerable experience with this subject I’ve found that even working on the same platform (in my case a Mac) that files I’ve received from an outside vendor or freelancer or whatever with what was supposed to be the same font would have tracking and ragging problems. I just want to expand a bit on the theory of getting the same tracking and therefore same ragging from a same-named font bought from the same foundry.
